Evan Rachel Wood was born on the 7th of September, 1987 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her father, Ira David Wood III is a theater actor writer, director and writer, as is her mother, Sara Wood, is an actress and acting coach. Her brothers older than her are Dana Wood, a musician and Ira David Wood IV who are also actors. Evan and her brothers frequently appeared at Theatre In The Park in Raleigh. Her father founded the theater and serves as its director-executive. She was five when she auditioned to play the character of Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994). With her mother and brother Ira they moved to Los Angeles in 1996. Since the time, she has seen successes in TV series as well as movies on TV as well as feature films.
