Aisha jamila hinds was born in the United States and is well-known for her part in The Shield. Since her debut in 2003, she has shown her acting versatility by performing outstandingly in TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7, and Under the Dome. The first time she was noticed was for her character Anna in 2005's film Assault on Precinct 13. Her performance in the biographical movie All the Way as the woman's rights activist Fannie Lou Hammer brought her to the attention of the public. Hind's portrayal as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's time-based drama Underground was also highly appreciated. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the series to a third season. After that the film, she was recognized for her performance in the film Chokher Bali (2003), an intense drama based off Rabindranathtagore's novel. She became the very first Indian actress to serve on the jury of Cannes Film Festival that same year. Bachchan played featured in Gurinder Chedha's Bride and Prejudice. This ballet-based musical reimagining of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is directed by Gurinder. Her star-power and elegance were brought to the first English-language major film. After the film's release, Provoked: a True Story in English, she went back to Bollywood and appeared in the blockbuster Dhoom: 2 (2007). Abhishek Bachchan is an Bollywood celebrity and a frequent co-star. Also, he is the son of Amitabh Bachchan.
