Britney Jean Spears

Britney Jean Spears was born on the 2nd of December, 1981 in McComb, Mississippi & raised in Kentwood, Louisiana. As a youngster, Britney attended dance classes, and she was great at gymnastics, winning many events and such. Britney loves to sing and, more importantly, she was in love with dance classes. Britney tried to audition for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) at age 8. She was turned down due to her young age. Britney was then suggested to Broadway's off-Broadway show "Ruthless" where she played in the title role for two years. When she was 11 she tried again for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) and she made her debut as a mouseketeer, alongside the stars of the present (Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez from *NSYNC as well as Ryan Gosling). However, her most notable break came in the late 1990s when she was signed as Jive Recording Artist. The debut album of Britney Spears, "...Baby, was released in 1999. Britney also sold 9 million copies (as as of July 1, 2001) of her second album "Oops !...I Do It Again" that came out in May 2000. Britney was the daughter of Lynne Spears and Jamie Spears. She has a big brother Bryan Spears and a little sister Jamie Lynn Spears. Britney, a child of Madonna, Mariah Carey, and Whitney Houston, was always determined to be a star. After having a lot of dance and vocal lessons and appearing in various showcases and fairs, Britney auditioned for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) television show (1989-1994) at the age of 8years old, however, she was too young to be able to audition for the role. Britney moved to New York with her mother and the baby sibling. She appeared in numerous TV advertisements as well as being an understudy for Natalie Portman in "Ruthless" off-Broadway. Her passion for dance and music took over and, two years later, she auditioned for an appearance on "Mickey Mouse" again and, this time, won the role with Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake.
